Cari amici,
quest'anno la squadra del RYE2050 parteciperà con due team alla staffetta Run4Rome in occasione della Run Rome The Marathon il 16 marzo 2025. Due squadre improbabili, ma cariche di entusiasmo e determinazione, composta da Carter, Hamilton, Lysanne, Sofia, Mari e Felisa Exchange Students del programma RYE, Martina Rotex2050 e David, chair della commissione RYE2050.
l nostro obiettivo? Sostenere il programma End Polio Now del Rotary International e contribuire all'eradicazione della poliomielite, una malattia che ancora oggi colpisce i bambini in Afghanistan e Pakistan, gli unici due Paesi in cui non è stata debellata.
Con la Run Rome The Marathon, domenica 16 marzo sarà il momento di vivere la corsa non solo come una sfida individuale, ma anche come uno sport di squadra, grazie alla staffetta Run4Rome. Questo evento si distingue per il suo obiettivo nobile: mettere in luce importanti questioni sociali e sostenere il lavoro delle Organizzazioni No Profit (ONP) aderenti al Charity Program, che rappresenta il cuore del più grande evento sportivo italiano di partecipazione di massa.

Dear Friends,
This year, two RYE2050 team will take part in the Run4Rome relay during the Run Rome The Marathon on March 16, 2025. Two unlikely relay team, but one full of enthusiasm and determination, made up of Carter, Hamilton, Lysanne, Sofia, Mari and Felisa, Exchange Students from the RYE program, Martina Rotex2050 and David, chair of the RYE2050 commission.
Our goal? To support Rotary International’s End Polio Now program and contribute to the eradication of polio, a disease that still affects children in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the only two countries where it has not yet been eliminated.
With Run Rome The Marathon, Sunday, March 16 will be a chance to experience running not just as an individual challenge, but also as a team sport, thanks to the Run4Rome relay. This event stands out for its noble mission: to highlight important social issues and support the work of Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) participating in the Charity Program, which is at the heart of Italy’s largest mass participation sporting event.
